transplant problems!!!

it is dropping below freezing nightly now. last week i moved two outside plants inside by digging them up and putting in pots. the biggest, a 5' by 5' white widow had just begun to flower drooped and look like it had totally shut off, very sad looking. the other didn't look much better. i bought some root stimulator and added some, the plants perked up in a few hours and by morning i thought they were doing fine. i am not an indoor grower so don't know much about lights. i have a light stand with two 500 watt lights and i have been using one. both plants are losing lots of dried leaves and the flowers for the most part droop, not the top two though. i don't know what to do now. i have been pulling off dried leaves gently. should i use more root stimulator? is the light a problem? they get direct sun for a few hours a day plus the one 500 watt. should i trim off the small branches around the bottom? any help appreciated. j
