Seems like a simple enough question but I can't find it asked anywhere on here.
When changing to 12/12 does it matter if you start it at 12hrs of dark first or light first? Is one better in any way? Am I high as fuck and over thinking this..? hahaha. Appreciate any advice, as always.

You're high AF & overthinking it lol.

Flowering is triggered by the build up of a hormone (phytochrome) in darkness, after many nights with 12 hours+ of darkness it'll reach a high enough level. One extra night or a shorter day isn't going to matter in the big picture. That being said, it is a long night flowering plant so that's the trigger. A shorter day after a long night tells the plant nothing.

hahaha I figured so but it's better to ask and look silly than not know for sure, imo. Thanks a lot, that's good to know.

A little humility or looking silly in a small price to pay for more knowledge. I figure most people don't really care about the details but always worth putting out there.

I think you see a difference when 2-3 days dark , on the odd time Iv done it, but really flowering would be starting / beginning then anyway so it probably doesn't make any difference, diff strains take different times thats for sure
