Transferring seeds from paper towel

Hey guys, am new to the forum. Is it advisable to use tweezers or clean finger to transfer seeds with tail from paper towel to jiffy pellets?

Wash and rinse hands no problems ever.

Either is fine. I wear gloves. If you're not a delicate type, tweezers may not be best.

Thanks for all the advice! I'll go with clean hands then, am afraid that i might crush the seed with tweezers

Why don't you just eliminate this step and a potential problem by putting your seed directly in the jiffy pellet?

Yup same here, dirty ass unwashed fingers lol. Never had a problem.

Just my opinion , why not start in pellet mate, skip a step and not risk damage to tap root. That said mate stick to what works for YOU and your comfortable with.

Sounds good

Just be gentle with them and not break the tap root. I like to transfer them when the taproot is only like 1 cm long. Longer taproot are more delicate and can sometimes weave themselves into the paper towel causing more issues.

I use my fingers and put the sprouts straight into dirt. Saves a step.
