Transfering plants with pythium from DWC/NFT to rockwool for cure?

So I recently transfered my plants with rotten slimy roots to soil and they are doing great.
Can I do the same with grodan cubes? My roots in my nft system are rotten because my water temps are too high. So in rockwool the roots would be cooler right?
I would do a drain to waste system

Coco would be my choice of drain to waste. water in some h202.
A good soil will also work.

youre going to have a job on your hands trying to transfer any plant into a cube of rockwool.
