Toss is my HPS or keep in the MH?

i have two plants that autoflowered on me which was unexpected since they were bagseeds. both females and are about 15 days into flowering. but i also have two fem powerplants that are a month into veg.
So my question is which would give better results, keeping the MH in or putting in the HPS??
(400W switchable digital ballast)

yeah but then what about the vegging Powerplants?
ill get greater yeilds with that if i keep the mh in but how will the flowering plants take to a mh while there being flowered. The lights are still on 24/7 since they autoflowered
Should i keep them on 24 or switch to 18 or something?
 
i only grow under 400w HPS and ive had no problems what so ever. here are so pics of my plants about 3 weeks ago and there huge now......i think hps is better because in my grows...i think it prodices thicker, more resinous buds.

Oh boy those look tastful...ill switch to HPS thanks..will temps rise though?

Those plants look awesome. You convinced me 'cause I have just been wondering the same thing.

I'm gonna go with the hsp 'cause I think they are more versatile and give off less heat, take up less hrdro.:mrgreen:

you got to be careful though with that HPS lighting.. :?

it all depends on how much room you got really. with the HPS lighting your gonna get a taller and stemier (if thats a word) plant than you would with an MH... if your limited on grow height or width then just be careful.. also if you want fatter buds, try using mollases 1-3 tsp per gallon.. trust me it wont hurt them

i curently use both Mh and HPS during both phases and, ---let just say-- im not dissappointed...:hump:
 
i use a 600w hps, used during veg & now into 3rd week of flowering.
i have been told to use mh during veg & hps for flowering.
 
yeah thanks......its is in mu shower but what can you do......better than a closet. these are pretty old pics but ill take some more and make a topic.....:joint:

I've recently been told about a MH light that converts to a hps light. Many reputable growers have mentioned it from here so I am now looking into that perhaps.

It is a big consideration considering the cost $ and all.

Converts or the ballast can handle both hps and mh? cause thats what mine can do so i just have two bulbs but one ballast
Mine was bought on the internet for 300 but i could of gotten one way cheaper but i live in canada and most places wouldnt ship them here :(
High Tech Garden Supply very good store with great prices...but they dont ship to canada
 
Can someone tell me how to use mollasses? how much and how i add it to the soil?
Im thinking on the surface then add water so i can seap down but i just need some clarification thanks
 
I recentyly out a post up on the use of mollases..lol

USe 2-3 tsp per gallon and you'll get what your hoping for.. trust me..:blsmoke:
 
Hey Jewce,
From what I was told is that you only want to use Mol. in the Flowering stage, just go the G store and get some grandmothers what ever. Its not really the Mol. its the sugars that gives the plant more energys to grow. I have head that you can use syrup and other products like that.
I was also told you want to add this after you add the nuts. at a different time/ feeding.
Just add 2-3tbs to 1g of water, mix well and add to your plants.
