Topsy Turvy

So i was thinking, do you think it is a good idea with anchor 2 10 ft 4x4 into the ground then place a 20 ft 2x4 in the middle of the 4x4 and hang topsy turvy planters 10 ft off the ground 2.5 feet apart.

would this work?

I really dont know the answer, but I've seen pics of dudes that have planted theirs in topsy turvys and the plants are curling torwards the sunlight. Would this have any effect on growth/production? I don't know...try it with bag seed or something less quality so if it doesnt work out right, then you won't get pissed. I would like to see how you make out though! Interesting experiment!

im gonna do it in a green house next season. just making plants now. Ill have indoor and outdoor going so well see

I'm sure it would work, but what benefits are you trying to obtain, as opposed to regular container gardening, or planting directly in the ground.

I think you would have more success if you put a screen on that frame, planted six underneath, and did a big outdoor scrog.
