Meta... We have got to meet one of these days! :D
i agree lol. I'll be down in SD at some point as my brother is there receiving naval training.
My birthday is in November...I was CONTEMPLATING a Harvest Party...Then maybe I could finally have my Pinata full of weed! Just been thinking about good locations, since it's probably too cold to camp out at that point. Who knows, but I think it would be fun.

I still have 2 topsy turvy planters, but I've really run out of sunny spots to hang them...lol...I might have to build something to hang them from if I ever want my upside down blueberry bush...haha...Also just got some new beans i'm excited about, and started germing 6 last night, so I might try to shove one of them in the other turvy.

I lost my plant on the bottom of my Turvy. I think that the constant drainage drowned it and the leaves were just rotting off. I pulled that out and all the roots were dead and gone. The side one is starting to show some nice growth though and will do just fine for a little experiment.

when mine was younger I didn't water it to often and only gave it like two solo cups of water until the foliage grew out of the way. Our new dog had a poke at it today though. he's ruined a lot of stuff of mine. lol. Got a hot wire today though. let's see him tear up my shit now. lol I got the least expensive one and tried him out on it and he didn't even flinch. Went and got the biggest one they had that only showed big animals on the box and no dogs and he yipped on the trial. lol One of the hardest dogs I have had.

What is a hot wire? Be kind to your dog, they have the mentality of a 3 year old. Then again, I know some 3 year olds that maybe need this hot wire.

It's a electric fence. I know about being kind to dogs. It's better then him getting scoldings all the time or me just letting him go. Most dogs at that age would of gotten the hint by now. He would get in trouble and be in there an hour later with my plants tore up again. In a way this is better. It's up to him. Touch or try to jump the fence he gets stung. Not me coming home and seeing devastation and scolding him. Im out of back up plants and this couldn't go on. He'll only tempt the fence a couple of times if he hasn't gotten it by now. Between the fence cost, Vet bills for a foxtail in his throat and neutered and shots, I have to much invested to turn him lose. He was brought home for the same reason of the things he is destroying.

Gotta train a dog and thats all there is to it.

On a side note here's my Magnum receiving a bit of training herself. This is her first protection class and shes learning to say " get the fuck outta here "

Hey TWS if you can get an e-collar you can use it to zap him the second he scratches the dirt and do it while he cant see you and is unaware of your presence He should stop. Dogs are "superstitious" and if he thinks it was the ground that shocked him he will stop.

I expect both the topsy turvy plants to grow taller than the planter this week. One of them has actually stretched a single leaf above the top rim...Fun!
