this is my second grow so im just learning how many times should i top my plant

Each time you top you slow the growth rate down by about 1 week per topping so that is a factor you need to consider.Also the more you top the thinner the prevailing stems will be so they hold a little less bud weight. I have personally topped the main stems and then several weeks after topped the two 'tops' and had great results.

When should I top? When the plant reaches the maximum height desired? How long does it take vertical growth to stop once topped?
