hey i got this plant that i topped a few days ago and i know its late in the season. it seems to not grow at the top now and only below. i topped at node 5. whats going on?
The whole idea of topping is to manipulate the growth hormones in the top of the plant to shoot to the bottom. There will be minimal growth to the top but you'll see changes to your bottom portion of the plant.
