Hey RIU,
I have a 3.5wks old auto indica seed ( Dark Purple ) in one-plant DWC system.
i think the plant was got a heat stress 2days ago, light timer problems..

Some technical details:
Starin: Auto Dark Purple ( Indica )
80*80*160 Tent
250w HPS Dual Spectrum Bulb
Hydroton
Ph: 5.8-6
Water Temp: 19c-22c
Tent Temp: 22c-25c

Do I need to topping or LST the pot right at this moment or at all?

You can top autos but I would not recommend it. If you want to increase yield you should be doing LST tho.

They look a lil droopy and the color looks off but that may be the lights.

You want to get it into some kind of net when they are small.

thx for comment.

I'm thinking LST technique is the best solution for me.
About the plant, i'm probably sure that he was got a Heat Stress before 2days ago cuz' light timer problem.
But all good with the roots and other spec ( Temp,pH,Humidity and etc )

When do u think i am need start to cover the plant with net and start with LST?

Look good bro.

Just laid the net on the plant? You did not tie any race?
The net is zip tied to the tent poles. Your plants are older than mine. The sooner you get the top bending over the easier it will be.

I have already been bending my tops down. The side branches are the same as the top now.

I just tuck the plant back under the net when they grow up and through it.

Some Updates:

After some testing, it turns out that the PH level was not balanced - above 5.8.

The roots browned a bit so I changed water, added hydrogen peroxide (1ml = 1ltr), balanced pH 5.5-5.8 and added fertilizer for growth.
The next day I recognize that the top petals are turning brown and drying out.

For the past 3 days I have had a bit of a hard time maintaining a room temperature higher than 18 degrees Celsius.

What is the problem?
Could it be because of the temp?
Too much fertilizer (even though I follow the manufacturer's dosing table)?
Maybe it's the hydrogen peroxide I added that caused it?

Thanks in advance!

Update #2:
New water + fertilizer only
Water Temp: 20c
5.6 pH

From what we see - the plant has recovered.

Am I supposed to cut the browned leaves?
And what about LST?
Are there any recommended techniques for me?

To late for any lst. That plant is flowering. What you see is what you get. There is no more growing.

So it is decision time. Do you let it go another 6-10 weeks and harvest 2 or 3 grams. Or start over and fix the problems so you can get a good sized plant that yields 2-5 ounces instead of 2-5 grams.

My autos are about 30 days old now.

They should still double in size from this point.
