If you cut the whole bud site off, it will grow back two. If you leave about 1/8" of the bud site, it will grow 4 new tops. Go ahead and google how to top and ferm your marijuana plant, lots of videos on the subject. Good luck and happy growing

Agree that you're late. Any possibility (horizontal space) of Super Cropping and tying down the branches to keep them lower?
I was thinking about that alright tying the branches down. I'll have to give Google a skip thru. I'm after topping them already I topped two of them twice. But the other two are after getting very tall and nearly at the roof. Any useful links for me please?

I'd go for super cropping....and flipping if height's going to be a problem in the future..

I've also had great success with Uncle Ben's technique. Just for future reference, if you're growing indoors, you may want to consider flipping when they are no more than 18" tall; they will continue to grow taller but you won't have the problem of them getting into the lights. Many professional growers only veg to about a foot and some take clones straight into flower. I think taking them straight into flower is a bit extreme but I've seen what they get when they flip them at a foot tall and it's impressive!

Well you will need to do some thing lol. Topping again probably won't help if they haven't even stretched out yet. I use supercropping as a last resort in my setup and have had mixed results but you do what you gotta do. If you have the side room I would try getting them bent over slowly each day by tying them down. If that's not an option then start cracking stems I guess. At least that's wha I would do lol.

WTF?

Why in hell do you still have 4-6 weeks of veg to go? Outside lighting = You started too early!

Inside = your vegging way, way too long!

Most plants will dbl in size during bloom......Running a Sativa? Make that as much as triple in size! Your not even TO bloom yet!

Like potpimp said (in a way) You need to manage your veg size to available space considering the end size potential of the strain!

Yeah Pardon me,,grumpy,,long story. Sorry about that.

Yes - too long a veg period is a "thing", when combined by space limitations....Say you have a seven ft in height area. Your hanging 1K lighting and you need 18 inch's of open space between the light and the canopy. That will give you somewhere around 4.5 ft of plant height limit to grow in. A 24 inch tall plant (not including pot) is about the limit as it will dbl in height in bloom.

This can be cheated by supercropping. Say you ran to as much as 32 inch's. You simply do the super cropping at around 20 inch's from the light and finish the plant.

If you let a plant touch the total space limit in height. You've well over vegged!

Remember what I said that Indica's and heavy Indica cross's do = double in size in bloom,,,AND Sativa's can triple (or more for some landrace strains)! Remember this as your guideline to veg size limits!

Yup you gave them a nice long bit lol. I'm pretty sure most have done the "fuck me, it's gotten to big" thing. The doc has been a bit cranky lately, he means well I'm sure lol.
Thanks for straightening me out a bit Budley! Needed a little slap!

Grab them and bend them over to lower the top. Don't break or hurt the stems just tie the branches bent over. If not mentioned. Bend it over as much as you like. I think this is right. Anybody.
