Topping/Flowering

listen, not to hurt you'r feelings, but you need to get a good medium, and some decent pots before you even think about flowering those, tbh that soil, looks like you dug it up from the ground, go get £20 or $ whatever you use, get some soil and big black pots, repot, leave them to veg for a good month, then come back, the plant could double or triple in size, and when we mean double or triple, i mean from 2 foot stem to cola, to 4 or 6 foot stem to cola, depends on genetics, and the height of your light from you'r plants.

Out of interest what kind of light are you using to grow these, or are they outdoor plants? Also what kind of soil are you using?

The one not topped actually is "ground" soil i dug up lol and yeah theyve been growing outdoors. Where im at the sun stops hitting them after 12 hrs so put them under an old CFl in the garage for another two. Not sure of the wattage but it works i think.
 
The taller one like i said was stunted for hell maybe 2 months, i just discovered it out back and brought it in and its been on the same cycle as the other for 25 days now

IDK im learning, this is my 2nd solo grow. My first was only one plant and i wanted to smoke her as quick as possible, i jumped the gun and harvested her before she was ready =( i only grew one due to limited time but i want these newer ones as big as possible. Heres the last girl.

if i were you i would seriously be thinkign about some good soil, 10 dolalrs a bag, and a couple nice big pots preferably BLACK, yeah the cfl will work if that all you have got, keeps the photosynthesis going for them to veg, remember 18 hours of light 6 hours of dark to keep them vegging, you can do less but i like 18/6 for vegging my babies, And i would say the stunting is due to improper root growth, some good soil will seriously help out on that, and the payoff will be much more than you put into it, if you cant afford much equipment, i suggest getting 2 3 gallon buckets, good soil is important, and leaving them to grow in bigger containers in good soil, good roots = healthy plant, this is what good soil can do for your roots, and some other pictures of the same plant with that good toor growth, i believe the roots are stained that colour because of nutrients. I would also suggest buying some good genetics (seeds) and starting from there, you would have to do some research on which strains to grow in you'r part of the world also.
you can go on attitude and buy single seeds for $5 each, a bag of soil = $10, pots = $5 so roughly $20-$50 which is not much, but will pay off in the end, also you can pick up some cheapish nutrients online, i suggest using the US equivilent to biobizz nutrients, foxfarms, im sure for all 3 bottles it does not cost too much maybe $20, then you are looking at a very nice harvest, esspecially outdoors with the power of the sun you could be pulling pounds off plants if done right.

Im going to do take your advice as soon as possible and look into longer light period I appreciate the constructive critisism. =) I heard a plant cant use any more energy from the sun than 14 hours. Is that false?

Im not sure on that one, I like to use 18/6 light cycle, i have hear of people using 16/8 also, but never heard of anyone vegging on 14/10 i would think they would flower, or at least be confused as to whats going on lol

If you use seaofseeds.com you will be ok ordering depending on where you are, their stealth is realy good, but you wont be able to buy single seeds, i reccomend nirvana, big buddah, barneys farm, these are breeders who create seeds, and have some great genetics, also in your bank statments from seaofseeds, they have a fake site called sos gifts, where it comes up with a site where it has nothing to do with cannabis seeds, so i trust them sinc ei have not ordered off any other site except seaofseeds, attitude have some good feedback, but since i am in the UK seeds are legal here, also i would reccomend breeders boutique, i speak to some of the guys there who make the strains, and they are a great bunch of guys, they have rare strains back crossed with UK clone only strains, very rare indeed.

Hm, possibly why they arent as healthy as they could be... God i must be stressing these plants to the max. I did the same with my last plant as well. I flowered on 11/13, thats the only way she'd flower. But ive read somewhere about a scientific study of advantages and disadvantages certain amounts of light have on plants. Im going to try to find it again, i could be wrong.

As i said, just get some good soil etc, keep the lights on no less than 16 hours a day, then once you have experience you can test the boundries, the net is full of alot of misinformation, so experience is essential, soil, good root space, and some decent nutrients, and you should have everything you need to be busting out a couple oz's off each plant, esspecially under the sun, the best way to grow would be under the sun, too bad i dont have the space for it, or i would have hundreds of plants to deal with haha im away top bed now

Some good genetics, 5 bucks each for fem seeds on attitude, you are guaranteed a female every time, as long as you use some stable genetics, from trusted breeders. i cant do any good macro shots but this is my females, i have 4 plants right now, allwere fem seeds, all got nice preflowers in veg, nice pistols showing. The strain is big buddah cheese.
