Ok you topped exatly how i top, i like this it lets me mainline y plant, my plants are also in veg, heres some pictures to show you what to expect.

these were all topped the same as your's i even got a shot of the stem to show you, but i also LST my plants to make them bush out more, if you leave your's untrained they will simply grow normal with 2 main colas with side branching, i LST my plants to make them bush out more and give me an even canopy with more tops that stretch up to the same height as the 2 main tops i made.
crap grammar, this is a weed forum just read slowley and you will understand my typing one way or another.
Also i would advise, getting some nice weed freindly soil, with some perlite, and some fluffyness to it, as weed likes a nice fluffy soil sor some good root growth, dont go cheap, go out and get some standard thick black pots, they dont cost too much, that and some good soil like Playgron, biobizz, Foxfarms happyfrog, will do wonders for you'r plant, and in return it will thank you in many oz's
if you Lst the plants, the side branching will grow up and you will end up with bush's, if you dont you should expect a normal plant with 2 mains like i said before with short side branching just like a normal untopped plant.
