Topping, clones

ok so I am getting some clones this week I wanted to start them on 12/12 that's ok to do right? with that being said will I be able to top them at all?? or by the time they are to the point where I can top will it be to late because of being on 12/12, also what is the earliest you can top a plant?

if they are rooted you can 12/12 them.
Topping in flower. Cant say people dont do it, but I dont and wouldnt reccommend.
You can top really at anytime, but most people top at 3-5 nodes.

So you hve not seen these clones then? Why not wait until you get them and then decide what you want to do. I mean I don't know that I would want to take a new totally shocked clone, cut more off it, and in a short time turn around and transplant it and start flowering. But you have a space issue right? HMM if I were in that position I would take fewer clones and give them better attention and love.

AWWWW Shucks! C'mon now my ego is already over inflated as it is

They are fully rooted about 4 inches tall the only reason I am not waiting to get them is because the guy sold all of his clones right away but knew that I wannted the strain so he saved me 5 and has been taking care of them for me my issue is I only have 1 grow room and currently have my batch in there and they are on 12/12 and have a good month if not 2 months to go lol that's the only space issue I got my grow room is 12ft x 6ft. X 8ft and only has the 4 in it lol

Really y'all. I am just a guy who loves growing cannabis. Everything I know I learned from all of you and personal experience. Anyone can grow this plant. I am sure of that

Oh shazzbatt! I thought you had much less space than that...or maybe I was just spaced out? LOL! Well why not make a makeshift 'wall' and seperate two areas? The clones don't need a shit load of light to stay healthy until you are ready to flower.

To Op:
A set of T5s cost seriously no money and take up no room. I wouldn't be so quick to toss in a set of clones that are no longer available... Wouldn't it be wiser to save a couple and use them as mothers in the event you really liked the smoke.. err... meds?

I veg for 7 to 10 days then flower them. give them at least 7 days bro. if you let them go you could top them after 7 days then let them go for 3 more days then flower. but if you thro them right into flower you will lose on yield

36 clones in one gallon pots IMO in a 4x4 tray fits comfortably.

lol thats because I did I did a total rebuild of my grow room yesterday because i knew the clones were coming this week... Thanks again for your help bro I need to try an figure something out, I do have 1 spot I could put them but there aint that great of ventilation in there

The only other possability I see as 'do-able' Get boxes to put over the flowering girls for a 6 or 12 hour period. If you have the lights go out at say midnight, set an alarm for 6 a.m. and cover them up and at noon uncover them. yes this would be a major drag on your time and sleep. But the girls come first right? My room mate has done this 'successfully' I use the quotes because his pot is sub standard because of all the shit he does to it. This guy is the Yosef Mengele of the grow world. But this method has not made them any worse. So that is a comforting thought...maybe??

lol I am gunna need a refrigerator box or maybe something else crafty this could be interesting haha
