Topped my plant above the 3rd node... now a new shoot is starting to grow out???

Ok, I guess theres a first time for everything right?

So I topped my black maui seed I had found in some stuff I picked up, its grown up from seed and started showing really cool/good characteristics (other then it crappin out on me now that its been waterlogged and I cant seem to get rid of the water )

Anyways, I topped it about 4 days ago above the 3rd node, and now the other shoots are starting to grow out as normal. Butttttt.... now I also see a new shoot growing right out of where I topped! Any explanation for this?

Cool Now you will have multiple tops. The more the merrier. It will catch up and start drinking that water up soon, just had to recover from the stress of toppig. Just don't feed it until the pot is dry again.
