My plants are 8ft tall in 50lpots and am about to go flower
I’ve been feeding microbe alfalfa fish and chicken shit
dya think I’d need to ad any gypsum before flower still or the chicken shit have enough ?
Shal I add chicken poo before flower or is that too much nitrogen

im fitting a scrog screen now to 4ft

Not gunna lie it’s hard to know what you need to do. I don’t like chicken shit for anything, usually has high sodium levels. Are you growing indoors?

Always outside is snow lol
seen a lot use chicken shit inside , has less salt than kelp too a lot less so I don’t see no real harm I feel like even with chickenshit there hungry as fk

The difference is kelp is top dressed lightly like, what a teas per gallon. Chicken manure is typically heavy handed topsressed more like compost. How are you useing it?

either way no harm at all in useing it. Definitely provides nutrition. Obviously slot of growth if you got 8 foot plants lol. Either way I would not use it preflower for sure. Get some flower dry nutrient if you don’t have anything else on hand. Likepower bloom Gaia green . Or flower girl. Or uprising bloom.

they need N but the alfalfa and fish have that covered. I’d keep running those too if your having good results.
Yeah il get pics too I think I have ca cravings maybe phosphorus too and needing more n

leaves are light green and some copper blotching few lower curling crispy and dull few… mainly 1 strain seems to crave ca White Russian she is affected

the chicken shit I did 1 cup 3 week ago on surface where I water worms are allover it readjusting my soil lol

my teas I use microbeorganics recipie
my alfalfa tea is the same microbe tea but with 2 cup per gal

i just added 30grams tnc hydro mycor witch is kelp based very slight ammount there this is all the kelp I’ve used though

yeah going flower I did wonder about the n in chicken shit but with them light green I didn’t know wait for pics cause I am changing my screen today Il get a full canopy pic

I wanna see these 8 ft tall plants indoors... Something tells me getting them to full maturity is going to be a challenge regardless of what you feed them...
Haha yeah I had a massive prune to get them under the scrog screen , only left so long as I was slow constructing in secret the loft conversion and wel few days took weeks n then months and well I didn’t wanna flip while room wasn’t ready
got past alot of problems lol

im not sure what to Topdress as I wana avoid sodium like kelp etc if messed shit up last time to sodium eh , so the bloom mix are all different but mainly consist of ewc, sop ,bone meal, frass ,gypsum or crustation meal .that is as far as I can see but I am fucked if I can find dosage to get the 4-8-10 my best is a sprinkle n guess at each ? I have all of them and more bought on A whim when I started lol

the plants at the back are my big ones they was on the roof filled round my lights
the plants not under screen was cuttings from them and was 1ft taller
they will be back under screen tomorow I removed it for pics
glad we have it legal here atm or I wouldn’t be able to upload lol

can see the 1 plant here has a ca craving was a big one trimmed down to stalks to control her last ca craving
1 plant wants iron /nitrogen/phos so defo I’d say wanting feed and depleted chicken shit
I defo think they want food

Dang those are some huge plants, and yeah some of them do look hungry...

Tbh if it were me, I'd go with some good compost or ewc, and a general-purpose dry fert. If you're just starting flower, I'd make the first top-dress a veg or all-purpose, nothing bloom-specific just yet. Most of the blends like Dr Earth, Espoma, etc don't contain kelp but a lot of them do have chicken manure.

Also if it were me, I would not want to flower those monsters indoors. Like maybe keep the one that's in the best health if you really want to try flowering it out, but the others I'd take clones and start over with smaller plants. It might add another month or so to your grow time, but save you some headaches down the road, especially growing organically it's going to be hard to keep those things fed in 50L pots. You'd probably have to top-dress every week for most of flower at the very least...

Haha I know right but fk that eh flip it’s a 42day pheno except 3 plants 65 days so I need to get a harvest down asap
if I need to Topdress weekly why Not eh gota water anyway 2 seconds to add food

got a good compost I can add to em but won’t potting further up stem cause stem rot ?

You've vegged for to long IMO. Looks like you're in Promix and the pH buffers are soon to be gone. You have to low pH on some of the plants causing severe Mg def.

Gypsum is pretty hard to dose but I think some people use it successfully on here. I would not add that directly to soil without "letting it cook" for a couple of weeks. I would raise pH of the feed or add more carbonates like Potassium bicarbonate, Calcium carbonate or something like potassium silicate. You need to replace the pH buffers in the medium.

Maybe there's enough minerals in the topdressing to combat this? I'm not aware what's in the slow released plant food.

I don't think adding more dirt to the pots would hurt anything, just don't keep it overly moist right around the stem. You could treat it like mulch around a tree and build it up around the stem but not right against it...

Good luck!

It’s ewc peat mix top layer is biobizz mix thebph reads on soil at 6.6 currently
I’ve never heard gypsum needing a cook? It can be foilar sprayed or soil fed with no I’ll effects
yeah defo mg def I get it continuously under led whatever soil or fert I use
but it’s not severe mg really I’ve had it well heavier i think ca rust spots and light leaves

when I kelp foilar they go lush green instantly bit Am not feeding that to the soil

I do use silicaand chickenshit is full of ca 4.3.3.9ca

the ewc will run dry of nutes in that time
and chickenshit did well I just didn’t dare add more yet ?

Chicken pellet info guess they do want more
Then reapply every 3-4 weeks during the growing season for stronger plants and better yields.
