i need some help from you handy types as i have never taken a shop class or, built anything from scratch. ive been sitting on 2 400w lights (cool tube and bat wing), a 6" cap fan, diy filter and carbon and, basicly all the hardware needed to get it popping. (and 5 c99 seeds) ive had set backs and issues plus, ive relocated. money is tight and ive had to curtail my habit. help me. i cant smoke reggie anymore. i need to get my closet rockin.
the closet available is 5 x 2 x 8. id like to build a box that will allow me to maximize space and equiptment. what i invision is a sturdy box on wheels that will allow me to use the batwing inside for veg/sog/scrog and, the cool tube on the topside for scrog. it would be 3 x 2 x 3' 3" and sturdy enough to hold 2 x 3.5 or 3 x 2 gal pots on the top. pvc in ea corner running up to about 2.5' above the top would allow me to attach scrog screens inside and out plus clip on fans and supplemental lighting perhaps. duct fan to vent the box with passive intake. the wheels let me roll it out of the 3' closet door to better access the other side of the screen. rear access to the box would be nice if i do scrog inside.
im thinking mdf like a tv stand to hold the weight instead of 2x4 frame and ply. is this feasable? any suggestions? thanks

This seems like a very good idea. Couple thoughts that come to mind.

First thing is Longevity MDF is nice and cheap but it wont last long ( will get soggy and weak over time, not to mention the massive amounts of moisture that comes with growing plants of any kind). If mdf is your chosen material you should check out Ikea / Wal Mart or other big box stores for cheap premade wardrobes! There are usually single door boxes that have customizable interiors.

Second reading this it sounds like you want to build 2 rooms, or are the second set of pots literately just sitting on top? If just want to have pots on top why not close it in? keep it nice and stealthy, unless stealth isnt and issue you can def save some money on wood.

As for the screen i would try to design the screen so it is removable, This makes it easier to remove the plants are harvest and also makes care and cleaning between cycles quicker. I like the idea of using Pvc.

Supplemental lighting is always a good plan for flowering, i wouldnt worry to much during the veg stage just because i find plants dont really need as much light during this phase. But adding a couple CFL bulbs around the screen could really pay off if you can keep the temps under control.

I like the Idea of a second door on the back (i would kill to be able to get to the back of my box a little easier), but this could add light leaks but aside from that it could be a big benefit.

What are you going to use for a reflective material? Is this going to be perpetual or from seed each time?
