Top dressing

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of Brands I can use to top dress my plants from start to finish.

Reason being I don’t have much space where my grow is and I’d like it to be simpler as to top dress the soil and then water each time instead of mixing liquids and then watering from the mixing bucket.

kind regards

Top dressing is like making an inch of super soil on top of regular soil.

My only experience is with Dr Earth. The incredible experience organic stuff. But as my experience grew. The Dr Earth goes to my houseplants. Mainly the Golden Pathos. Which won't eat it in any kind of rush.

Ahhh thanks for all the info I’m going to check them all out, unfortunately I’m based in UK so a lot is hard to get.

I’m not looking for organist just anything that will make it easier to feed my plants as mixing in such a small space isn’t great at all.

Before flowering, mix these two 50/50 and don't use the full dose... maybe start with half dose
re-ammend 3 weeks later
It's super cheap, easy and great result

Your name makes me nauseated. I'm no cop. Nor do they really like me. But fuck man. That's just wrong.

No one should be killing anyone. Flat out straight up. Nor should anyone be proud of it.

Anyway. Nice plant.

Not necessarily, because top dressing you usually use a dry nutrient with no compost or already active microorganisms. Top dress dry nutes according to soil capacity/plants needs. THEN Slap a inch or 2 of fresh super soil on top of that. Water and watch the magic happen.! :eyesmoke: bongsmilie

I agree, but there's numerous ways to top dress. My new way I usually do anymore is to mix my dry amendments with some EWC, compost and pumice. Then let it cook for a few day or so. It's kinda crazy how hot the mix can get while it cooks. Sometimes I just use EWC, pumice, and whatever dry amendments I decide to add, but like to cook it still.

I have a batch that I made a couple nights ago that I just stirred up. I'm gonna let it cook for a few more days, then top dress with it. It's warm right now.

But I've thrown on plain dry amendments and just watered it in too.

With my new system my plants are way less likely to burn, and it's gentler on my worms I think.

Very interesting, I just might try that! I can't see why that wouldn't be better. But how hot does it really feel, temp. wise I mean?

I bet you that they have some primo amendments out there. Why dont you look up Notill soil building. It's a living soil that becomes more and more nutrient rich over time.

Just warm right now. Last time I checked the temp of the mix after a day and it was 104 degrees. The next day it was like 93, and then like 80 the next. It's crazy. It's kinda like making some Super Super Soil, lol.

Build a Soil's Build a Flower mix is like a cooked and ready to go top dressing for flower. But my mix has a bunch more stuff in it.

The beauty is I can start using more guanos now. I got a bunch of guano, but every time I use it it kinda burns them a little. It was literally burning the roots. This way I can cool it down in a way.

I hope this is making sense, but I'm high.

I should mention. My house smells very Earthy as it cooks. My wife loves it, not really, lol.
