I used DTE dry amendments last year but mainly threw them in the tea to brew. I feel that I missed out on a lot considering there was always some solids in the bottom of the barrel so I figured I’d try top dressing. I’m going to make several applications of mix and apply it accordingly. Here’s what I found-
-5C bat guano -5C kelp meal -2.5C alfalfa meal -1.25C Neem seed meal -1.25C crab meal -thin layer of compost. This adds up to an NPK of pretty much exactly 3-1-1. I haven’t included micronutrients because it doesn’t really affect the NPK ratio. I’m open to tweaking the recipe and adding other organic products.
