lol. Il probably be harvesting around day 52 or so on a couple of plants. You think i should try a bud? or should i wait? The flush hasnt even started yet so i think it would be a waste.

Well, I'm no genius, but I'm dying to hear how it is. Give one a quick shot, microwave.. lemme know how the smoke is, if you can. I bet it's real chill, since early. Although.. breeding reports I've seen say this strain can be real couchlock if it goes long. Some people like that. I do not. How are the trichomes? Still mostly clear / cloudy?

Sorry about that. my computer is fried! rest assured i have plenty of harvest pics and smoke pics to come. ....
In the end i got about 5 oz, it was very light weed though and an oz could easilly fill a sandwhich bag so there is loads.I would definattly grow top 44 as a comercial venture but it is clearlly not a conosour weed. the smoke smells nice, doesnt taste great and the high cant be grumbled at, it is long lasting but doesnt really peak.
Hopefully i will be able to do the final update sometime soon. i have 20 + PICS INCLUDING A COLA THAT DWARFS A TWO-LITRE COKE BOTTLE!
I allready strated my new grow, im reveging a couple of the best 44s and i have some hindu kush on the way.

I am PSYCHED you're back, man! My mini Top44 is 22 days into flower and just starting to get daily plumping. Sucks the taste isn't too great, as that's big for me. Did you flush the living hell out of it? I can't wait for the pics.

Okay so here it is, The big final update. Im sorry to you guys who followed about disapeering for ages, my computer was frying itself, But i have a new power supply now so here is the long awaited final update!!!!
I was impressed by how well i actually did, I grew 5 healthy plants that all harvested meaty colas, with tight buds. This, however did not detract from the fact that T44 is a VERY commercial strain. It looks good and has bag apeal, is very light ( a bonus for people who sell in deals) and i managed to get a decent skunky/anaseed scent.
It all looks very good and is encouraging to the newbie however as a seasoned smoker i have to say the weed is rather mundane. It does the trick, it lasts a long time and it DOES GET YOU STONED. But it seems to feel like the days when i smoked hash. There are no peaks with top 44 just a long lasting plateau of stone.
As you can see, these pics show some of my colas.

Okay so, I cut one plant on day 49, I paid the price. What was genetically a killer plant only gave me an oz of mild green. The others were cut between day 55 and day 62 for the last.
I learned a lot about genetics with this grow. I learned that plants are completely diferent gentically. I had some that had barely any small leaves around the buds. This meant less smokeable bud and less weight in the end seeing as on one plant the whole mass of the buds was made of callaxes!

Oh yeah, BONGBOY it doesnt taste great in a bucket really, but what does?! lol. Its nice in a shotty but tastes best in a blunt.
My next grow begins today as thats when the seeds arive. I have got;
- WOS Afghan kush fem
- Buddha White dwarf
- G13 Blue venom (free)
I allready got my best 44 re-vegging so il have the kush, venom and 44 growing. Then when the kush is ready il slip in the white dwarf. Sound good?
Anyone have any tips on re-vegging?

I wish i had let the first two plants that i harvested around 50 days go a bit longer, i would have got a lil more weight and i'm sure a hella lot more potency from them.
Also, i learned a lot about genetics. Seeds of the same strain can produce totally diferent plants, obv still top 44 but some i found to be leafy and frosty, while others were more built around calaxes. also some were really stinky and some were not so pungent.

Took My *ahem* comprehensive T44 report off another of my threads for you guys!
Its not too bad, The stuff i didnt cure was awful but i got some going into ints 3rd week of curing now and looking really nice.
Potency - 7/10 Top 44 has a long, even high but it doesnt seem to peak and like all weeds, gets old. 50/50 couchlock/headhigh.
Taste - 6/10 Iv tasted some really exquisite buds, but this isnt one. Its not awful, The cured stuff has a deep skunky yet almost aniseed tone.
Odour - 6/10 Like the taste, skunky and aniseed but not overly pungent. Interestingly T44 is bred for low odour.
Bag appeal - 10/10 I can see why this is a comercial weed, its a nice pale green, forms beautiful buds, AND WEIGHS F##K ALL!!! Perfect for deals.
Overall on the grow;
Time scale - 8/10 An undoubted earlly finisher. Mine were planted on 29th jan/ Ready mid april. Totally missed 44 days though but some could say my set-up was far from perfect.
Ease - 10/10 My first grow! They totally shoot up! They dont need a lot of nutes but they love them! a perfect first time plant, Very encouraging indeed.
Yield - 7/10 I got an oz per plant (x5) Under 250w hps. This may seem impressive for a first grow but This weed is so light, It looked like i had twice that! That big cola for exsample dried to 18g Stalk'n'all! and i have hardly even counted any stalk in that 5 oz! The buds however were rock hard!
