toooo many plants?

I have a 10gal. pot with bottom compost layer, organic dirt, wormcastings top layer and 5 spikes of ferts with 16 plants from seed on the outerim of tub. vegged for 14 days and day 17 of 12-12 now. most of them have shown female. tub is in center of my tent with 250mh and 600hps vert bare bulb directly above them training plants outwards. around the tub I have my reg plants. my question is I don't know what to expect from the tub. I havnt grown from seed, nor have I grown so many in one pot. nor have I flowered sooo early. any insight on what I should expect would be great.

A 10 gallon pot is around 7 1/2 actual gallons giving you 1/2 gallon per plant.

im guessing all 16 are not female so removing the males will give the females more

how many days total from seed will these finish ? average with 14 days veg? about how much should each produce?

with that extremely short veg time id be more then proud to get a half oz per plant

about 12 inches.... 14days of veg and 17 of 12-12. seed. theres actually 15 in tub. 13 of them are showing female. other 2 not 100%.

I would be happy with a half off each. I don't see why not.... 850 watts directly above. plenty of food. anything is extra since I use to have fan on floor where the tub is. now fan is on ceiling. have AC pumped in... good exhaust fan and a reg fan. 86 average temp 12 inches away from bulbs.

I started with like 30 and thinned out the small. 13/15 are females as they just started showing yesterday.

100% females!... some look at least 1 week into flowering. pics tom.

day 35 from seed. 14days veg. 21 days 12-12.

That's a waste of a lot of seeds . I would have done only one seeds in there . Two maybe if I felt a little crazy . Plants need elbow room . Less is more in growing .

how is it a waste of seeds when they are free? and if I hadn't sooo many I would be wasting light. soo free seeds that I grew myself, and those plants are catching the light that would be wasted. 2 would be ideal to mainline 1 on each side and train the long way. but this is an experiment with a time constriction. 15 plants if I get 7gs which im sure ill get more is about 4oz more out of my tent. If a plant can produce in a 16oz cup im sure 15 plants can produce in just the same in 10 gallons if not better. but this way I don't have to deal with 15 individual "extra" pots falling over and watering. .....10gallons =16oz x 80..... 80divided by 15 =5.3333333 times more elbow room of which one has in a 16oz cup.
