Too tall

I'm new at this and need some help. My plants are getting too tall. I've tried IMG_1721.JPG bending them over without a lot of success as there is a lot of it and they get real crowded. Can I pinch and bend the tops over and if it's OK, how far down from the top do I need to be. It looks like if I can bend them up high it will work, but I don't want to do harm.

Yeh just super crop Em, wait Til sun is off em and pinch the stem til it pops and let it fold. Mon likes to pop them away from the plant giving the inside more light.

If the stalk/stem is too thick to pinch, needle nose pliers work with some tape on the tips to be more gentle.

Once u pinch em and let em fold, leave em be overnight and then tie them up the following night.

That's what I'll do. Thanks for the advise on not doing it when it's hot

I did one yesterday for practice and it's gone vertical already. Pretty amazing in less than 24 hrs. This top didn't need pinched, but it was easy to get to and watch. Thanks again folks

Tie her up carefully this evening or next evening if you would like it to heal a bit more, but if you leave it untied it will go back to standing up in a week or less.
