Too much? Too little? What’s happening?

Too much? Too little? What’s happening? Can anyone take a look at these leaves and offer some guidance? I am growing in soil using Earth Dust and Cal mag. I have six plants in a 4 x 4 tent and one or two plants are plagued by brown spots on dry crisping leaves. I’m watering with RO water, so I’m supplementing that with Cal mag. Any advice is greatly appreciated. I am a newbie.

I'm not sure what earth dust is, but you've got multiple deficiencies going on. Hard to give advice without knowing more about the grow. BUT you are reaching a critical point and I think what I would do is get a bag of Maxibloom, mix it up to 500 ppm and start feeding that by itself. Give it a couple of weeks, then consider upping it to 600-700 ppm. This is what I do when I try new nutrients and something unexpected goes wrong, it just helps set your grow straight. You might be able to salvage this if you hurry.

Thanks for the replies! I’m growing in 5 gallon fabric pots. I’m watering twice a day. I’m not allowing any run off, but I water when the top 1/2 inch of the soil gets dry. My relative humidity is around 45% and the temperature is around 78°F. The lights are on a 20/4 light schedule. The plants are Jack Herer Autos from ILGM under 2 ES300 v3 LED lights.

The other plants look pretty good, but a couple of them are lighter green than the others.

and thanks again for your advice! This is my first post on this site and I can’t believe how quickly you’ve responded!

Earth Dust is an organic supplement from The Green Sunshine company.

Watering 2x a day in 5 gal pots seems like way too much! In 3 gal fabric pots I'm watering once every 2-3 days and 7 gal once every 5 or so days. How much water are you giving them?

They’re probably getting a half gallon of reverse osmosis water each day. I’m watering whenever I stick my finger in the soil and it’s dry up to the first knuckle. The fabric pots really don’t give any runoff, so I figured I was in the right ballpark. Maybe it is too much?

A hlf gal each or all together? Best thing is to go by pot weight. Water em real good until you get a little runoff, I actually like to let the pots sit in the little runoff for 10 mins or so that way they can soak up any remaining water they can use. Then I wet vac the water out of the trays. Really get a feel for how heavy the pot is at this point. Then let em dry out, the pot will feel really light. First time I did it to get the feel I actually let the first set of leaves start to droop. For me, a 3 gal fully rooted soakes up around a hlf gal every 2-3 days and 7 gal takes around 1 1/2 gal every 5-6 days with 55-60% rh and 78 - 83 high temp. I'm surprised you don't have any runoff, I get water leaking out the sides and everything.

A half gallon each day. You’re right, the parts feel pretty heavy. The only runoff I really get is through little channels that route water out the sides of the fabric pots here and there. I will try to lighten up on my watering schedule. Maybe just with the top layers for a couple of days. Dan, from green sunshine who makes the earth dust organic supplement I’m using says that I should keep the soil moist at all times. I’m just trying to figure it out. Thanks a bunch for your help!

Anytime, do you happen to have an extra pot and some more dirt on hand? If you do, fill the pot up with dirt and keep that for a reference. When it's time for you to water, ur planted pots will weight not much more then the pot with just soil. You want the soil to dry out a bit. It won't hurt the micros, just don't let them dry out to the point of wilting all the time.
