Too much light/hot temp burn trichomes?

Just got a sunsystem 315 cmh with Phillips 3100k so I replaced it with a 240w lm301b board but inside my 3x3 tent I also have an hlg300 v2 rspec cranked to 70% cmh was at 90% in a matter of 5 hours my tent reached temps of 87 degrees which I thought wasn’t so bad normally temps r 81 .so I kept adjusting the height of cmh and landed on about 12 inches from canopy to be suitable with the hand over canopy test also have 3 fans in tent 1blowing on the canopy with 4in-inline carbon filter I’m in 4 weeks of flower and my zkittles og was showing decent trichomes production but I come back and almost all trichomes is non existent especially on the sugar leaves . I just want to know “WHAT THE FUCK”????? Was it the heat or the light intensity? And will the trichomes come back ? I was so proud of that specific plant. Never had trichomes like that this early in flower now it’s gone
