So what does everyone think is the best nutes for coco I'm currently using canna coco a and b with their additives also is it better to go for a 3 part rather than 2 was thinking about the advanced nutrients 3 part but their additives seem very dear and not very sure if some evan do what they say

If you have a 3 part, you won't really need additives, as you can just change the ratio of the 3 base nutes to get different nutrient profiles.

Hypothetically, you don't need additives even with a 1 part, as long as you never get deficiencies, but once you do get a deficiency, you'll need another ingredient/part to compensate.

I use canna coco A and B, Rhizotonic, ZYM, mono Ca, mono Mg, PK1314 (for a short period) and potassium Silicat here and there.

I pull upwards of 400g from my 400w setup.

Why do you want to change?

How long have you been using canna?

What sort of EC are you feeding at?

I generally max out around 1.6EC.

Which is about 3ml per litre of each A and B with 2.5ml per litre of ZYM.

This is my max strength.

Usually I'm up around 1.2-1.4EC which is about 2.5ml per litre of A and B.

Do you employ any training techniques? Topping fimming supercropping mainline etc?

How tall are your plants when they finish?
3ft???

Do you strip off the bottom growth due to insufficient light penetration further down into the canopy?

I can tell you from experience that canna are pretty solid as far as nutes go, usually people are under feeding with them or not pH'ing accordingly.

I don't measure the ec I will probably start using it on my next grow just need to calibrate it
I feed about the same I used canna grow guide on light feeding just as a guide.

Yes I usually top or fim and then supercrop on my mast grow I did lollipop a little bit but I didn't go mad.

We'll my last 2 ended up nearly 51/2ft that's including the 15 litre pot think they was too big because some of the side growth wasn't getting as much light. And I always make sure the ph is from 5.7 to 5.9

Don't get me wrong it's been working well for me on my next setup I want to do another grow with canna then try something else just because it's going well doesn't mean I should always stick to it I just want to try new things maybe I will find something that suits me better.

If you really want to use something else, try this:

Mix #15 (1 gallon):
KNO3 - 0.847g (potassium nitrate)
KH2PO4 - 0.981g (mono potassium phosphate)
MgSO4 - 1.535g (magnesium sulfate)
Yara Ca(NO3) - 2.55g (greenhouse grade calcium nitrate)
KOH - 0.288g (potassium hydroxide)
FeSO4 - 0.094g (iron sulfate)
micros in trace amounts

This gives an EC of about 1.3mS/cm and N : P2O5 : K2O ratio of 1 : 1 : 1.9 and a K:Ca:Mg ratio of 1 : 0.6 : 0.19
