Too late to veg???

Ello all... and yup another noob..!!
Recently a friend passed me a few big-buddah cheese clones that have been under 600w HPS for the past 2 weeks on a 12/12 routine.

I think thier about 8-10 weeks old but not sure. :-?
The biggest (of which i've attached photos) is 17"x9" and potted in a 10" tub using miracle grow multi-purpose compost.

I have put them in a 5'x4'x6' unit under a 600w HPS with the room temp @29-30 degrees Celcius.. but now switched to 18/6 to promote the vegative state...

Have I done right by switching 'em to 18/6 or is it too late into the flowering stage?? - Also will I be able to take more clones from this plant?

If you look at 'Image_02' & 'Image_03' you will notice a very slight (crystal like) speckling on the leaves & a slight browning on the tips.. Is this anything to worry about?? - I think its caused by the nutrients contained in MC, but I may be wrong. Also Iv noticed in previous threads that when using MC I should'nt water/spray them till the soil is very dry..

Any comments/advice would be much appreciated.. :blsmoke:

Thanks in advance boiz..

in a word, yes. keep them on 12/12 till ready to harvest.

ps. is this a troll attempt? haha xD

Looks that way.. I might have to pass em to papa smurf..
Seriously though.. I thought I got em too late and the wrong times were used on lighting in the first place - and by your comment this seems correct..

huh???????????????:peace:
These were passed to me at 15" high literally 2 days ago.. and I was wondering if I can still put them into veg (reverse) under 18/6 or not..

With nolixz's comment i didnt know wot "is this a troll attempt" actually meant - i thought he was ridiculing the size/stage the plants were at so i mentioned passing to papa smurf.. for peeps who dont know who or wot a smurf is, its a troll-like cartoon caracter.. pic of papa smurf attached..

My (small) girls are under 18/6 now and im flashing them once to disrupt sleep pattern..

Will my efforts actually reverse them into veg or am I wasting my time???

Please help... kiss-ass

The last time I grew anything of decent size was about 15 years ago and we never had MH bulbs or HPS.. We used to put em under Standard Sodium bulbs then swapped to Standard Hallogen for flowering - The bulbs back then were like the ones u'd find in security lamps..

i didn't understand your question at first, but yes you can put your plants back to vegging by changing the light schudule. it takes time, but it can be done.
