So my babies are pre-flowering like most everybody else's and im expecting them to flower any day now....i haven't had any bug problems yet except for a few grasshoppers....

so i have some neem oil and coco-wet i haven't used yet that i want to use on the hoppers and as a preventative measure... is it to close to flower to use it? I don't wanna smoke oil lol the preflowers are just starting to increase in number

No it's not too late but....
how bad are the hoppers?

if it's just a few and you have the time to look daily... pluck em off and get rid of them.

From what I have seen on some plants after they get neemed is burnt (this is also due to my area and the heat.. )

If it were only a few hoppers I would spray the bottom half of the plant only from under the leaves. Nice measure to take and look into einstein oil for next grow it cost a little more but you will will like it, always mix with wetting agent.

Thanks man...the hoppers are eating holes like the ones in the picture everyday into my leaves...it starts curling just that leaf and looks ugly up close...not the highest ranked cannabis concerns i know but i just don't want them to lay eggs...i do usually get to them before they turn into adults but my pyrethrin based spray isn't working on em and i don't wanna use it anymore because of the preflowers....

what area are you in? Im in los Angeles county and its fairly nice here now but summer is only one month in, it will heat up slightly

Yea its very few but damn they eat alot and fast lol i got dyna gro pure neem bc it was cheaper but i will def look into that Einstein's oil for next year...and yup i got some coco-wet organic wetting agent from the hydro store... thanks for the tips!

You can still use it. Just make sure it's a cool day. I sprayed a good dose of neem yesterday and that will be it for me for this grow. They are already starting to flower. I am going to use other organics until harvest. I don't like the smell so I think it's best for early and mid-grow. Others do use it until 2 weeks from harvest.
