too hot for outdoor

its been 100 + degrees everyday. 90 degree nights. all buds are small and airy of strains I've grown already. I know they get big and dense. Same thing happened last year. I thought it was due to having too small of pots. I have much larger pots this year and the same thing. My last winter and spring outdoor harvest had huge dense donkeys. so now I'm convinced its the heat. Last year it was northern lights.this year its 9lb hammer and jilly bean. Good soil mix, mulch, and shade at the hottest time of the day. Any thoughts or same experiences ?

I think it is a little strain dependent. You may want to switch to a more equatorial sativa dominant strain mix for your high heat grows, although if too far north these will be hard to finish outdoors.
