Tons of sprouts in large pot.

So, don't ask why but, I didn't want to individually plant the remaining sprouts so they all just came out of the soil in a 12" diam. 2G pot a BUNCH of them. Not ideal, but at what stage/age can I sort of safely pluck individuals out and put into induvial cups? I'm thinking maybe fist two sets of full leaves? ALl sprouts are probably 1/2 to 1" apart in the pot more or less. These are 'extra' I did not think would 'pop'. I'm SURE someone out there has done this. I want to get them before they are all entangled yet soon enough that most may make it and not too stunted or whatever from the transplant . GOilng into paper cups then after I sex them into 1G pots then outside. Oh, and that's another question; at what age should I force into flowering just enough to sex them? I know, probably not advised but I don't want to wait til they are much older. Thanks.

First I would just try to thin them out; snip the ones that are too close together to pull apart and then do the brownie cut thing as TH is suggesting. Toss all the dead baby plant stems in a compost bin or recycling soil. Poor little bastards; they never had a chance….

You'll have herms if you do this.

they did a test where they found out that you get males at one end and females at the other if sewn too close together
