tomato cages

id like to buy 2 tomato cages from Home depot. is this ok putting steel/metal into my promix pots ? i was concernd about rust getting into the mix . is this ok ? do ppl use these?

rust wont hurt nothing, more beneficial than anything, I remember when I was young my mother sent me over to this unused railway section to grab spikes so she could stick them into her raised beds.

you must have been a good boy/girl :) thats sweet i didt think rust was benifical . thanks for the help you two . they are made for tomatos and they grow in dirt but i still had to ask

Lol I got busted by stupid "railroad police" for stealing, but he let me keep a backpack full of them so idk they were also iron not steel. not sure if that will make a difference
