toilet extractor fan

alright people, im currently in the process of setting up my grow room, well grow shed actually! ive just bought a toilet extractor fan and set it up in the shed and the problem im having is that i can still hear it outside the shed and am paranoid the neighbours will hear it!!! has any1 got any ideas how i can make it quieter?? thanks in advance

i'm using one in my room and they are very noisy, i don't think you can buy silencers for them , but you can get insulated ducting- reduces the noise (sonoduct)

how powerful is yours.
mine summet like 75 m2 and hour

PUT the fan in the room and run ducting to the outside.. if you mount the fan directly on the shed, they will probably here it no matter what..

cheers pal,fink im gunna have a look at some of that soundproof ducting then, cant think of nuffin else! i only got it because it says on the box ''very quiet in operation'' n its makin a right noise lol
it says on the box 98m3 an hour

yeh i have done that garden knowm but its still really loud its the actual whirling sound of the fan thats makin loadsa noise.
am well gutted thanks anyway
