Today is the day I dismantled the vegetative box under a 400 watt MH. Inside were nine vegging Skunk #1 clones. All were slightly taller than 2 feet and were very healthy.

Earlier this week I dismantled my mother/clone box under CFLs. I killed Mango, Northern Lights and Skunk #1: Mothers and clones. All of them.

Tomorrow or the next day, I will kill off my flowering box under 400 watt HPS.
Skunk #1, Mango, Northern Lights and Red Shiva. Nine plants in all.

I had to do it. Economics is forcing me to move at the end of the month. Good-bye spacious house where a grow room can be easily concealed. Hello tiny place where nothing is hidden.

I know moving presents a severe problem for growers from time to time.

It was very painful and I put it off all week long.

I'm not complaining. Shit happens. I thought I would share my pain.

Thanks, Dudes. :peace:

Strangely enough, I'm not bummed about my situation. Just a little sad about sacrificing so many healthy plants.

A few years ago I made a calculated decision to move my business in a different direction. It was a risky move. Basically, I zigged and the market zagged. Since then my business has been declining gradually.

I am down to three employees, including myself. I am moving in order to keep the others on the payroll. They know it and accepted reduced pay to stay on. We are all suffering because I'm an idiot.

That's the way business goes. If I had been a little smarter, I would be very busy right now in a much more enviable financial situation.

Things will turn around, this is just me getting ready for it.

Should have given away the plants.

Sucks, though.
And exactly what is your suggestion as far as determining to whom I should I give them?

I can see that conversation, 'Hey neighbor, I've got these sweet cannabis plants I've been growing from seed in an ongoing grow operation. Do you want them?' :wall:

I guess I could advertise them in the 'free' section of Craig's List. No risk there. :dunce:

Worth a shot.

lol good point..

Well you live and ya learn...just like in growing..ya hope for the best but ya gotta expect the worse..

I believe you have learned great deal from this and in the future will be more successful

Keep us updated on your situation and I know things will ripen up for ya!!

I've had that happen befor one reason or another and to shut down and ya giving away can be a good thing you would be surprised at how much people will give back.

That would be great assuming I know someone who grows. I don't know anyone personally who operates a grow.

Here they are, I pulled them out of the compost pile for a photo. I killed them six hours previous.

I woulda moved em to the woods, and never came back.
Not like deep in the woods, off a trail so if a smoker walked past he would know what to do.

I'm sorry to hear it.I know what its like to face hard times financially...I hope things get better.

That's great advice, except for a couple of items.

1) I live in a city. Removing well over 20 plants to a remote site would put me in extreme risk.

2) I am trying to move. I do not have the time to go to all that trouble in order to surprise some slap-happy stoner walking through the woods.
