To soon to make hash?

So i plan on making hash using alcohol and i want to know if i could start soaking my left over plant material or do i have to let it dry out first? thanks for any advice.

Hash you need dry leaves, you're talking about making hash oil which i believe
also needs dried ground material.

just freeze it, put the leaves in a ziplock bag and in the freezer over-night and make it in the morning(no need to let it dry)
