i had a joint of some shit that had been stashed in a jar for 15 years. Was still pretty fresh so smoke away
 
I have weed stored in jars in the dark and cool temps. I smoked some 1 year old Kandy Kush I had that was stellar!! If its cured right and stored right it will last a long time. Im currently doing an experiment on everything I grow where I keep at least a quarter. The plant is to let them sit 5 years if Im still around and check them out. Kind of hard keeping the super potent strains!
 
If you get confused, check and see if your cucumber is breathing through it's anus! My mom used to say "a hole is a hole"! It farts it's lungs out it's anus, needless to say the attacker gets confused!
