I'm a relatively experienced outdoor and glasshouse grower but every year, one of my plants challenges me. Here's a plant grown from feminized seed and now seems to be showing signs of being a hermaphrodite. For certain, it's producing some seeds, which could still be a female plant reacting to stress and sort of going into survival mode. Not sure. Other than extreme heat this summer, stress has been minimal. Not sure if you can see the seed pods in the photo, but another photo shows little, I assume, seeds just starting (on my fingertip). I cut off one bud, crumbled it in my hand and found a few of these. I don't know. Thoughts on this plant if you can make a reasonable guess based on the photos? Beautiful plant otherwise, probably 8 feet tall.
