To all the real dads out there

This is the absolute 1 day a year where I get to do exactly what I want. As long as my wife says it's OK.

The wife and kid got me a nice collared shirt.
One of those new fangled moisture wicking deals. And the wife is cooking crispy duck for dinner. I'm excited for dinner. And I took the day off. My string trimmer made it here. But my chainsaw and hedge trimmer did not. So my plans for yard work today will have to wait. Not entirely devastated by that.

What are the rest of you dad's doing today? And any single mothers that have to play both roles?

Very nice.. Thanks for the nice outlook on life.

Real dad's?
Didn't know you could fake it ;-)

Well been a single parent to my two amazing boys(now men) since 2002 when they lost their mum.
A simple card and phone call made my day.

Happy Father's Day to all

Happy Father's Day!

My children are all grown up and have been on their own for several years now, and live thousands of Kilometres away.

However, I live right on a lake and it's going to get up to 88F with pure sunshine, so I'm going to enjoy Father's Day with some boating, fishing, swimming and having some pints with my feet dangling in the water.
