hey guys,

does anyone have any tips on LST-ing? like have you done something different that has given you better results ? not including screen of green. i dont have enough space for a screen and all the other things i have there, plus im using 400w high pressure bulbs and i need to keep the space between my plants and the light in mind. anything will help... maybe some pictures? im using 5gal buckets

thanks

So i stared with a clone and pulled the two branches down as far as i felt safe in early veg the stem is weak and easy to bend and form for u without breaking but be careful cuz it can break but i pulled it down and tied it off with a soft tie after a few days i pull it left or right as far as i feel it will and tie it again make sure to tie so all nodes are exposed for light after awhile they will start to grow straight up not side to side as it grows move branches away from bud sites and just keep repeating till u have them growing the way u want i put mine into flower early to see how my techniques will work from start to finish im trying to circle the pot i hope this helps

Ive been using metal coat hangers that i cut and bend into shape to hold down my young plants. Then when they get bigger i switch to pipe cleaners to tie down individual branches.

probably nothing new to you though. LST is pretty simple as is.

I tie a loop around the branch w/ a piece of string and safety pin the other end of my line to my fabric basket.
