some say a day or 2 in darkness induces flowering quicker, i personaly would let mother nature do the work her own way :)

The showing of pre flowers is determined by the plant. Just gotta wait it out. I know of no way to speed it up. Keep in mind too that if the plant isn't gen sexually mature, it will continue on the unknown till it is. That's why even 12/12 from seed grows (done a few) won't show till about a month in.

thanks for the input, my plants are 60 day vegged and are clones , no need for sexing and they should be plenty mature....... i heard feeding a flowering mix a week or so before the flip helps with a faster flip due to the plant already storing what its going to need for flowering, any merrit to this? any help is good help :)

I can't say for sure if flowering nutes early does anything either way. Plants take up different nutes based on what phase it's in. They use what's available to them. Think a super soil recipe. Everything it will need is in the soil and all you do is water it. The nutes basically sit in the soil till the plant is triggered into needing them.
I won't say it's impossible, just I don't know if it is. If there is a way to make it all happen sooner that actually works, I would love to know, but haven't found one yet.

The plant has been evolving for 1000s of years to grow the best under natural conditions. I am perplexed when people try to 'trick' the plant into doing something unnatural. Granted this is how we learn about the plant and it's properties, but I do my best to mimic nature as close as possible.

As for the fertilizer: I wait till the pistils start to form before switching to flower ferts. I will run grow fert for the first week of 12/12 usually. If I switch too early the leaves seem to yellow earlier.

I have heard that 36 hours of darkness will trigger the flowering stage but that was when i first started growing so Idk if its true. I have done it with a plant that was vegging for 60 days and it worked but I have no idea how ur girls will reaction at such a young age. Best of luck to you and if u want fast buds try some auto strains. I think some are as little as 8 weeks from seed to harvest.
