Tips for the couple that couldn't wait

  • I have some Blackberry that is in the 10th week of flowering. Last week I cut off a bud and let it dry for 7 days. Last night we smoked it using a bubbler water pipe. The taste was good and not to harsh to me. However, my wife who has never smoke had a vicious coughing fit and said it burned her throat. We both got an all over body buzz that was intense. What I'm looking for is tips that can make smoking less traumatic for my wife. I know that I need to wait a couple more weeks till they are ready to chop. Thanks for any suggestions!DSCN0640.jpg

also, check out digital volcano vaporizer, there the shit.... joints help me not cough
but tell her to hit it lightly:-P
Yeah my friend had a volcano and it was great. That bag would last me for a few hours of just constant hitting and it tasted great I'm gonna invest in one. I bought a water bong instead and it broke the second day I had it.. Paid over 400 for it never again..

I don't remember precisely where I heard this, but the longer the plant's in flower, it's beginning to produce more and more CDB (make sure to use a Water pipe with freezing cold water and an ice catcher..) I guarantee it won't hurt a single but. Just keep a thought about how long you usually hit, because you can't really feel it like usual.

agree, I remember getting a new ice cooled bong, in between the layers there was cooling fluid (I believe pure alcohol) so you could stick in the the freezer

3 friends gave it to me at my birthday, so we of course had to try it out right away :D

we smoked hash, and mixed like 1/2 a gram and grilled one smoke to mix in, I did light it up as it was my gift, handed to the next guy who got a nice lung as well, 3th guy couldn't get anything out of it

we believed it must have gone out and tried to lite it up agin, found out it was smoked in two lungs !!! couldn't feel it as the smoke was so cold, but damn we got high :D

and yes a long curing time, in some jar`s, maybe with some humidity control is what give great tasting Bud`s,

but just try to wait a week or two, the hars tast is often the remanning moist of newly dried Bud`s

Just my opinion but, I went out years ago and wasted $300 hard earned dollars on a vaporizer.
Damn thing sits in its bag collecting dust in the closet.

Reasons: 1. Makes the bud taste like shit. (like smoking burnt popcorn)
2. Takes to much time to heat up.
3. Takes up allot of room so not stealthy at all.
4. Tweeky high not a bit of stone about it, all head and all speedy feeling.
5. Costs way to much.
I'm sure there are more reasons these are the ones I could think of right now.
I have not had the thing out in more then a year and have no plan to.

I would suggest a good flush of the plant it should help the harshness.
Other then that a nice slow drying period followed by a nice cure.
Proper drying and curing will help a ton.

A great read on proper drying and curing https://www.rollitup.org/subcools-old-school-organics/333138-final-stage-harvesting-curing-mzjill.html

Yep, while this is a constant topic of debate... FLUSH.
If you wait until after the major bud swell, when the plant growth really starts to stall (generally about 1 week before harvest) flushing your plants will not hurt them at all. Also, curing is a major step. You can ruin good bud or improve bad bud with a proper cure.
Like someone else said above, tell her not to hit it so hard. Just a very small hit. Don't smoke it like a cigarette.

Strangely my gf can smoke anything, but if i give her a volcano bag, a small hit on it and she is coughing her lungs out.

How2 to stop your wife coughing so much? give her more to smoke. I think most people end up coughin on their first cigarette or joint, they're just not used to a chest full of smoke.

Also bare in mind, some people just don't tolerate smoke. I love smoking, but be it a joint, a bong, a blunt, after a handful of hits my throat and lungs just scream no and i have to chuck it. My body dislikes smoke to the point that re-lighting a joint is a no-no, almost unsmokable. Itchy, harsh, hot. No thanks. Just have to bite the bullet and roll up a new one.

Boveda humidity paks. You can pick them up on e-bay and other places. They come with canna vault containers. They will remove excess moisture out of a jar or container or put more moisture in the air if needed. They have different moisture %s but you want the 62%. Just dry out your flowers as normal and pop some of the packs in with your flowers in the jars and burp as normal. Your final buds will come out just perfect and it imparts absolutely no taste or smell. Really improved my final outcome no guessing about the humidity in the jars, now I know 100% that it's perfect in the jars and everything will come out absolutely the best. Well worth the small amount of coin you spend on it. I mean think about it all the hard work the $ on all the electricity and nutrients and time put in it, yeah a couple of bucks on humidity paks, well worth it. :peace: out.
