tiny spiral snail shell lookin things

im using some soil for my backyard compost pile. its well broken down but obviously theres gunna be some "creatures" inside

i keep finding what looks like tiny spiral snail shells. i have no clue as to what they are. could anyone shed some light

u can buy some simple snail killer. or salt line around ur plant. my plants are in 5 gal. buckets. so no snails. 1 prayin mantis tho. and spider mites( the norm)

baby snails would be my only guess. when i see them i just crush them and leave them be. ill save a few and take some pictures

there doesnt seem to be any living creature inside and they are bone dry; break up to dust

yeah see i used miracle grow potting mix along with backyard compost. im thinkin it was an additive for phosphorus, maaaaaaaaybe, idk

thats awsome that you have a praying mantis those things fuk shit up lol there also endangered species i believe as for the snails just use salt around the plants like he said they will not be able to pass n you'll b good
