Great light blocking set up. Gonna be using that one in mine. Hope you don't mind me stealing from ya :bigjoint:. Can't wait to see what kind of filter set up you're using for those double exhaust fans.

I've been getting the filters done little by little today. The light will be here tomorrow so I have to finish it tonight. I'll have a photo update when I finish either tonight or tomorrow when the light shows up.

It won't be flush. I have a piece of mdf that attaches to the blocks to form a light seal. I also painted it all black to minimize reflection. I'll have some more pics up shortly. I need to resize them.

Alright, progress so far. The filter assembly is complete. I just need to finish wiring and sealing it. a lock was installed and weatherstrip applied. and as previously stated, the passive intake was painted black.P1010169.jpgP1010171.jpgP1010172.jpgP1010173.jpgP1010175.jpgP1010176.jpgP1010177.jpg I also added a speed control for the fans. I ran out of the fasteners I need so it to the home depot tomorrow.

The light should be here today. Didn't notice till about 1 am that one of my filters is about an inch longer than the other. They both fit so I guess fix it when I need to recharge it with carbon. I found that a staple gun is my friend for this project but ran out of staples last night. Once I get my kids to school it'll be time to get more and finish this. Final photo should be up today, tomorrow at latest. Thanks for following everyone!

Looking great Yasi, you're a wealth spring of ideas for my current set-up. Thanks! My inquisitive mind is at the edge of the seat with anticipation for the final pix.

Should be tonight. The light showed up about an hour ago. Brighter than I expected but it's my first time with LEDs. If my wife gives me the effin free time I need to finish I should only have another hour of work ahead of me.

IT'S DONE! the only light leak is a hairline crack near the top and it's only 1/2" long. filters are working as I can no longer smell my absolute blue in her new home (at least I hope its a her). I'm running the lg-led 150w switchable, dual carbon filters and dual 120mm fans. Thanks everyone for following the build, next it's on to the grow. It's 50 x 3w. Picked it up on eBay from a seller called easyhydro. I paid $128.50 at auction. The cheapest I've seen retail is 150. Amazon sells them at 260+. I don't have a kill o watt to check actual but it says around 90w draw.

Thats a pretty good price. IVe been debating making my own multichip led panel or just buying one from ebay.

Thanks. Guess construction school paid off. I'm not sure how old my plant is so I'm just going with day 1 as of today.

The temps in the box stays at about 88f. 2 fans seen to draw enough air since I can feel it being drawn in underneath. Odor is well controlled and the box is sealed up good (all weather caulking).

Hey man, you may want to enlarge the intakes to get temps down, I had a similar setup and it made a very big difference for me.

Otherwise, your cab looks great and it was very well executed. I am excited to watch the grow now.
