I have my windows tinted right now in San Diego but not to dark. Tomorrow I'm getting the back almost limo tinted and the fronts pretty dark. I'm looking for anyone with advice who lives in SD on tinted windows. have you got pulled over?

I'm thinking tinted windows could either save me or kill me..we'll see.

I know here the cops will pull you over for having your back or front windows tinted. Not that I ever smoke in my car so it doesnt really matter for me.

I don't think you know what your talking about because I just read that the california law states that you can have all your back windows tinted as dark as you want and your front's have to let in 70% light..not exactly sure but sounds more correct.

i don't live in Cali but I knew someone who was pulled over a week after he got his front window tinted, he had to go to court and show them he took the tint off

Just tint your back window completely black. This way if you get pulled over you (and your passengers) can easily stash shit and do whatever until the cop gets right up to the drivers side window and he'll never know. If you get seen stashing something it is probable cause. Plus you'll never get profiled or pulled over for tinting your back window but you will with your front windows tinted.

Coming from experience, tinted windows are a huge cop magnet. Cops profile, they have a job to do and it makes their job much easier, and tinted windows are a huge tip off to cops. Anyway, hope that helps you out.
