They make pills that help.

Other than that, nope. Get used to it, bro. I barely notice mine unless it's dead quiet now.

Had issues with it for years,it almost makes me crazy sometimes...I have tried everything and many Varietals, nothing really works but turning the tV or some music on to drown out the fucking kazoo in my head.I always have a heavy hitting,go to sleep weed at my disposal.I found that too much caffeine makes it much worse.Hope this helps...

Okay...it is my husband that has it. I just wanted to ask his permission before mentioning it. Thank you oddish, I will go to that thread. Thank you to all who responded. Off to check out the discussion. :)

A friend of mine suffered from it. Issues from years of hearing damage from machine noise and shooting of all things.
Whistling beside him would really hurt the guy. Although he never ingested he did Vape and he did burn quite a bit.
Neither burning or vaping helped him but it was damage done to his ears apposed to fluids or blood pressure issues.

I've heard it can help with sleep. I'd imagine edibles especially. I haven't heard of it being able to help with the symptoms though.

It's maddening sometimes and I ALWAYS have to have the tv or something on.

My husband always needs background noise too. I am at my wits end. We have tried just about everything recommended and nothing has helped. If I could just find a strain that would knock him out just so he gets uninterrupted sleep that would be good. We are going to make the RSO. Maybe that will help. I feel so bad for him and I also feel so very helpless as a spouse. :(

Yes. The forum oddish sent me too is really informative. Some say forever and others say their's went away. It seems to depend on what brought the symptoms on.

there is a conscious part of us that "listens" for it..

there is a conscious part that is not listening to it..

he must plug into the latter

also ..the more one talks about it the more one hears it..

talking about it invokes/awakes the "listen to it "part of your mind

it is not easy..

All I know is I am not able to fix this and I am feeling quite useless I must say. It is his lack of sleep that worries me the most though.

you can do nothing
its something us tinnitus people have to adapt to
and not take personally..its alive, it will do its own thing
regardless of how we feel
getting on the "non listening for it" wave length is the only[ temporary] escape
