Tinctures and medical effects

I just got my lab results back on two different tinctures I made. The results were pretty surprising. My question is: How do temperature and time in the method of preparation effect cbn and cbd counts? Can I raise them during decarboxylation or I guess do less damage to them during the transfer of thca to thc? Does that make sense?

You can lower the THC and CBD and raise the CBN with heat. The same heat that decarboxylates, also turns some of them to CBN. Check out this curve for the best temperatures and times to maximize THC and minimize CBN.

Can you name a strain that would be good for sleep and anxiety with high thc low cbd and hi cbn?

Most recreational strains have been bred for low CBD and high THC. All that would be necessary to drive up the CBN, is to fully decarboxylate the oil, so that more of the THC is converted to CBN.
