Time to get smashed! ; )

Hey y'all, I've heard of a method to test seed viability is to see if you can crush them between your fingers. I was wondering how true this is though. I had a bud with over 30 seeds in it. After I got done with this test, I only had 7 seeds left. I feel like I wasted a bunch by squeezing to hard, they all looked well mature with dark stripes. Any insight to this, thanks.

thats not true. but its easy to tell if your seeds are viable or not within 2 days this way

The best way to test if a seed was viable is to smash it with a hammer. If the pulp that remains appears vibrant and capable of life, the seed was probably viable. If you find a dried piece of turkey jerky, no bueno.
