Hey everyone first grow here, This plant has been in veg for 5 weeks now, not as big as i wanted it to get really, i know it could triple in size during flowering so im not too concerned but from the looks of it, is it time, what would been an expected yeild do you think? Thanks btw, the first 2 pics are from yesterday the next to are from today,
- useing 4 100W equivalent CFLs in small grow area

Got a few leaf issues going on there not sure what those are symptoms of, but yield is gonna be dependent on more then light and size, strains make a difference as well as potential leaf problems progressing in flower stage. Maybe you should list some nutes and more info about your grow environment and try to correct any issues that could pose bigger problems later on in flower, if you wanted to or not, not too bad it seems to be getting an ok amount of veg light for a limited CFL grow and 5 weeks, but she does seem to be stressing from something; although I'm not experienced enough to say, I still am dealing with other problems myself.

My sativa stretched to 5'5 from around 3 feet when going to 12/12, but the same 2 month vegd indica stayed pretty small, under 3 feet in veg and flower, minimal stretch with same veg time and nute feed but smaller pot as well, so I guess that could have potentially added to the difference.

When they're 12" tall, they're able to start flowering. You can get her larger if you'd like; a larger plant will be able to carry bigger colas. Yields depend on the strain, lighting schedule, stresses and lighting used. I too use CFL's. I use daylight for veg. and soft white for flowering; different light warmth. I've got (24) 23W CFL's for a 4'x2' space for both rooms; veg and flower {highest possible Lumens from CFL's} Yield is actually determined by the plant itself. A grower's job is to coax the most out of their plants by fimming/topping and LST (low stress training ) and HST (high stress training). Do some research and watch lots of videos. I've been growing (legally) for over 1 year now and have had 5 harvests since then; by NO means a master and I am continuously learning. I know what works for me and my set-up. Good luck, your plant looks decent.

i personally would let them fatten up a week or 2, unless your in a hurry, nothing wrong with a litte more veg time=more chance for bud site and growth! I do agree you may have some feeding or Ph problems, OVerall they look healthy but i dont wnat to see your problem progress to to the rest. Are you doing any Foliage Feeding by chance? i personally do not but if you do that could explain what mi concerned about, As Cinandme, We all know what works for us the best but i always try and help, believing 100 % in Karma! Anyhow keep us posted and

equivalent doesn't count, tell us your actual watts.4 x 23 w? i think you should flip a week ago or 2 it will be difficult to flower with this lightning.IMO gl

Hey thanks for the feed back guys some more info for you, keep in mind I am new to this doing it as a hobby. I have learned alot from this site and youtube on different techniques, such as lst and fiming which i have applied to this plant to try and keep it a bush rather than tall and lanky. some more details,
the lights are 23w CFL 6500k x4 , I have had heat issues sometimes box gets to 95 degrees, i use plant prod 20-20-20 at half recommended dosage every other water. (only fert i could get my hands on at the time) the seed was from a bag of some good kush.

Thanks for the feedback guys, everything has been appreciated I'm going to do some more research about flowering and probably start the 12/12 process soon i hope, ill keep you posted.
