Time left?

So I've posted on here a couple times. I was told I had 4 weeks which turned into 6 more weeks and I still think I may need more. Plants are damaged so please ignore the burnt leaves.

Tricomes are cloudy. Plant 2 is having more amber than plant 1. I was thinking plant 1 would be done before plant 2. Both plants have a lot of pistils still. I was reading to wait until they are 70%-90% orange and turned in. These I feel are not like that. I was also told not to necessarily go by tricomes. What are your thoughts on if either of these are ready, needs another week, or how long it usually takes for the pistils or turn? Thoughts, advice and what not would be much appreciated.

They're ready. Not all of the pistols will be orange. Also, leaves will normally look like shit at the end of the grow. The plants drain all the stored energy from them, and they die.

Both are ready you think?

It's tailing in places, shits not quite right and if it's been flowering an Uber long time I'd cut now replace with fresh veg plants and chalk it down to small errors and stuff. If not let her go longer it might get better.

If you're growing different strains, they could very well have different harvest times. In that case, just cut down the ready ones, and grow out the rest. If they're the same strain, it'll all average out in the end. I'd cut both down.

Mine were supposed to be done over 2 weeks ago. I’m not even acknowledging the estimated grow times. When their done I’ll chop them even if it takes another month. You’ll be happy you waited or you’ll always wonder if you should have.

It's not like the strain times are off by a month, week or two but any problems will extend that which I see a lot.

To me the pistils look like they are still reaching so I would leave it for now. The second plant pics show amber so that looks about ready but all those stretching pistils shows it is still trying to swell. The other pics show no amber. If it were me I would go another week and see if those pistils stop reaching out. But that is just my opinion.

If it were me I would leave them both a while. The second pic shows a bunch of Amber but the plant itself looks like it is still trying to swell. Check the trichomes on bud sites on all the buds and if you see amber like that all over chop it but it does still look a bit early to me. Hard to say with 1 trichome pic for sure. You can always harvest the ones with Amber and leave the other buds to keep maturing.

I vote leave the 1st one for a few weeks. And leave the second for another week.

I wrote at 1:00 a.m., 3:00 a.m., and 7:00 a.m. and I only got one response through those. I haven't written anymore. I was just getting a little anxious as I want to f****** harvest already. But now that I have a whole bunch of responses of both harvest and not, I did post a poll to see everyone's opinion.

So here is the thing, many growers (especially new ones) are always in a hurry to harvest. They see the plants resembling the final product and are dying to cut them down to enjoy their hard work. This unfortunately does more harm than good, especially when those growers are reading the breeders claims. The big issue with that is that the seeds cannot read so they never know what the breeder says nor do they care. In the end by harvesting early you are just wasting months of effort. It's like standing in line for hours to get into someplace and than leaving just as you get near the door. You will likely also get a bunch of flack or even misinformation when posting multiple times with the same question. It annoys some people so not helping yourself any. If you make a post and nobody replies, just put another comment in it and the thread will move up. I think most understand being anxious and wanting to get to harvest so just be patient and bump your threads if nobody responds. You can also do a search on here and find so many articles with pics on the same question you may not need any more help. Just my 2 cents worth. In the end there are a ton of great growers here who will go out of their way to help but they are not always sitting in the site just waiting for the next post. Good luck.
