Just bought a carbon filter for my room and i was just wondering if my fan for it has to be on a timer or just run it 24/7?
Time for a carbon filter?

It can be run however you like. But without a fan on, the carbon filter won't do anything, and the house will start to smell.

Depends how you are using your carbon filter. Are you using it as a scrubber or exhast?

I have the fan go off with the lights...that way the tent is able to hold the heat from the light, and without the lights on I would say they don't necessarily need the fan...and for the most part without the fan to push the air about there is much less smell...until it kicks on again in the morning....
