ok me and my friend have this argument going on about how and why marijuana flowers and why 12 hours light and dark is so special. I say that it flowers at 12 12 because the light CHANGES and decreases because it knows winter is coming and it has to reproduce. MY FRIEND says that the plant instinctivly knows that 12 hours dark is a good flowering light and flowers anyways at 12 hours light and dark. whose right?

It is the changing of seasons that makes the plant want to flower and reproduce for the next season. 12/12 is a magic number that causes that.

Holy christ....thats like asking why grass grows during the warm periods and goes dormant during winter.

Go to you tube and look up jorge cerventes's grow book or just read something.
