ok guy's getting ready 4 my 2nd grow 1st grow was with 600watt/h.p.s had alot of strech no more of that ...now i don't no what 2 buy please help me kiss-assdo i buy M.H or fluorescent i have about 275.00$ 2 spend i need 2 germ&veg obout 20 seed's and i need a very strong veg ..400watt/mh or 600watt/mh or flurescent and if flurescent what is the watts that i shuld buy and what kind ..thank u rottie1 here r some pics of my 1st grow with h.p.s 600watt's only

hi i like to use those CFL's compact fluorescent bulbs daylight 100watt equivelent for the first 3 weeks or so give or take. then switch over to a 400watt MH for the next 3 to 4 weeks before switching out to the HPS lights for the flower stage.
as far as what light to buy depends on you and your growing area. you have a decent amount to play with for cash so you just need to shop around.
i use industrial fixtures called low bay lights like what is used in warehouses and make them remote. i have access to them and work with them all the time. they are not as efficient as say an electronic ballast but they work for me.
